Before I started to develop an interest in web design and development I really hadn’t given much thought to typography. That’s all changed, the subjects fascinating. I realise that web designers are restricted in their use of fonts by the nature of what fonts the user have on their computers. Given the restrictions decisions have to be made about the type size and whitespace, particularly if one is trying to achieve fairly minimalist sites using shades of grey, size, line height and width.
